Mossy Pond - OPI Can't Find My Czechbook, OPI Thanks A Windmillion

A simple one today! A coworker gave me these nail polishes and I thought they went really well together.

[Cool Shades]
The accent nail is painted with OPI Can't Find My Czechbook, a faded blue creme polish and the rest of the nails have OPI Thanks A Windmillion, a pale jade green creme polish. Application was smooth and easy, opacity achieved with two coats.

[Accent nail: OPI Can't Find My Czechbook
Remaining nails: OPI Thanks A Windmillion]
Every time I look at these two nail polishes, I feel the urge to use them together just because I feel like they really match and I always like how they turn out!

Mystery Beach - Emily de Molly Shallow Depths

Who doesn't love a good multichrome!

[Dip yer toes]
This is definitely a good one too! Check out those shifty shades!

[Bottle to nail: Emily de Molly Shallow Depths (2 coats)]
Here's Shallow Depths by Emily de Molly, a gorgeous green-blue-purple multichrome shimmer polish.

[2 coats: Emily de Molly Shallow Depths]
Isn't it amazing! The colour shift is just as obvious on the nail too. I had lots of fun staring at my nails at different angles.

[2 coats: Emily de Molly Shallow Depths]
Formula was fantastic as always, this was two coats, quick drying and non-streaky. Not like old school multichromes with opacity issues, you definitely don't need a black base here! Just slap on a layer of topcoat for extra shine and you're all done~

Festive Blossom - Rimmel Double Decker Red, Hit the Bottle To Have and To Gold, Born Pretty BP-L024

Happy Lunar New Year!! Sorry for the lack of posts, I have just been snowed under with work and social commitments~

[Lucky Fortune 88888888]
It is the Year of the Pig but rather than having little porkers on my nails, I ended up with a fairly traditional look once again.

[Base: Rimmel Double Decker Red (1 coat);
Stamping: Hit the Bottle To Have and To Gold; Plate: Born Pretty BP-L024]
I used Rimmel Double Decker Red as the base (this is totally my go-to red creme base; you can check out my previous review here). I then stamped over with Hit the Bottle To Have and To Gold, a bright yellow gold stamping polish with the flower and leaf pattern from Born Pretty stamping plate BP-L024.

I did consider a less traditional colour scheme! Or maybe making some fancy nail decals, but I just did not have enough time to do much~ I very recently was reorganising my nail art stash and boyyy do I feel guilty when I see all the pretty goodies that I have yet to try. Shame!! Shaaaame~!

Lunar New Year - Orly's Heartbreaker, Hit the Bottle's Spun Gold, Sally Hansen's Gilded Lily, MdU's Reddish

Happy Chinese New Year!!

[Lunar New Year!]
I have been very, very busy, but I did manage to whip out a Chinese New Year themed mani.

[Born Pretty's stamping plate BP-65]
The pattern stamped here is from Born Pretty's BP-65 stamping plate, as shown above. For the accent nail on the ring finger, I used Orly's Heartbreaker, a red nail polish with gold shimmer, as the base polish. I then stamped over that with Hit the Bottle's Spun Gold, a pale gold chrome polish. For the rest of the nails, I used Sally Hansen's Gilded Lily as the base, giving the base a sparkly gold glitter. Then I stamped over the lot with MdU's Reddish, a creme red stamping polish.

[On the accent nail: Base is Orly's Heartbreaker, stamping is Hit the Bottle's Spun Gold
The rest of the nails: Base is Sally Hansen's Gilded Lily, stamping is MdU's Reddish
For the last picture, you can see that I tried a different pattern for the thumb, but then changed my mind and went with what I had for the rest of the nails. I love how the whole thing turned out. It has a nice festive feel and has lasted for a week so far, without issues.
